| Character Details | Whether you were a merchant or not, you would’ve seen a boy with an otter stroll through town. Sometimes he’d stop to chat with the locals, sharing tea with those in Liyue and such. He has no affiliations to the adventurer’s guild but has taken up commissions on occasions on his own free will. He travels with the freedom of a Mondstadtian although he isn’t from there. The only place he hasn’t been visiting as frequently is Fontaine. |
| Story 1 | Colin doesn’t make it a secret whenever he arrives somewhere “new”. He lets Vale, his otter run around when he can, there was usually no issue. The locals would sometimes feed Vale some fish so Colin didn’t mind, he just prays that none were poisoned which they aren’t. He would stop by the library while at Mondstadt, so far finishing one shelf of books. |
| Story 2 | Colin doesn’t like it when things get boring. Who does? Although he also would never encourage fighting. Sure he was a prankster and teased from time to time, he was never confident in actual violence. However, if anyone did start a fight, neither him nor Vale would hesitate. Anything to those who disrupt peace, right? He would still spare them if he was in a good mood which was majority of the time though. |
| Story 3 | One part of Colin’s life feels like a blur to him. They all called him Chloe and he wasn’t sure why. After a while it became a habit to say “Chloe’s dead, I’m Colin”. Someone taught him to say that and now everyone recognises him as such. He’s glad though, he doesn’t need everyone thinking he’s some girl with a different name. |
| Story 4 | Having spent majority of his life outside cities, he still hasn’t quite grasp the usage of Mora. He seems to hoard it in case he needs it, not really knowing how much something is worth. He sells his things based on what he thinks which is usually cheaper than it should be. Others usually think he’s giving them a discount so he regularly gets customers who are interested in his treasures. He usually only ever spends Mora when staying at inns or buying something interesting to him. Colin often gets his own food from the wild so he doesn’t buy much of that. |
| Story 5 | “Treat others the way you want to be treated” is a phrase Colin half believes in. He can’t believe it fully due to the fact he lost his family early on in his life and due to the mean people he’d encounter. He goes around with a smile on, even when angered. The only time he doesn’t is when he’s openly grieving which is rare. Colin cannot remember the last time he cried, it felt like a foreign skill that had to be taught to him. Either way, he acts as if happiness is the only emotion he knows and gives off blind optimism. Although he does doubt himself on the inside sometimes but he’ll never admit it. |
| Vision | Colin’s early life seems like a mystery. He always brushes it off saying that he doesn’t remember. He doesn’t want to remember. Before his days of adventuring, he lived lonesome valley with an adult who seemed pretty old at the time. He called her River at the time and trained everyday, coached by her. One day he was out hunting, upon returning, he found River’s vision left on the table but she was nowhere to be found. He didn’t understand what it meant when the vision was no longer light and took it, intending to find her. He dropped the vision while searching and when he turned to pick it up, he found a small otter prodding at the object. He attempted to befriend it, retrieving the vision at the same time. In his hand, the vision began glowing again. |
| He wields his bow on his right hand, making him left handed although he is ambidextrous. Colin’s more dominant hand is left. |

| He tends to face his issues head on instead of running away. This only backfires if the issue is something to do with his past or random negative emotions. |

| Vale isn’t as dangerous as a sea otter would assume to be but will kill when him or Colin is threatened. He’s pretty cheeky and will steal leftover food though so be careful. |
| He was born in Fontaine with the name Chloe however he’s evidently changed it to Colin when growing up. |

| Although trans, he does not wear a binder (in gi universe) due to constantly traveling and being active. Also a reason why he wear 2 layers often (except when swimming sometimes where he removes his capelet) His top is very loose though. |
| He has no blood relations to River and still doesn’t know her real name. The vision he possess is River’s which has the vessel of those Fontaine folk would have, making her evidently from Fontaine. (though he himself is also from the nation) |
| He is mainly in Liyue or Mondstadt. Although he does go to the other areas (he seems to be reluctant to go to Fontaine but will anyway) One of his favourite places is Dragonspine. |

| He knew River always had a vision but she never really used it when with him. She would train with him manually without the magic and all Colin knew about it was that it belonged to River. He only learned a little more after her passing and when he activated it again by accident. |

| To River, Colin was just a child she found when he was three before deciding to raise him. Unlike an adoptive mother status, she mostly only served as a teacher status to Colin. To Colin, River more of an adoptive mother to him. |
| River passed away when he was about 12 so he got the vision pretty early in his life. Vale is 6-7 years old. Colin is actually somewhat protective of him. |
| The most important thing to him is happiness of others. He is very empathetic. |
| Although known as a very active traveller, he also has lazy days where he lays down in the same area for a whole day, in turn also skipping meals (unless Vale gets a fish for him or something) |
| He loves adventuring (he loves the sea the most) and seem to have something against mountains. He personally likes it but will sometimes avoid it for reasons he dismisses it as “not up to it at the moment” |
| He’s attempted to end his life before by jumping off a mountain before being stopped by a boy around his age. (Their whereabouts are unknown, presumed dead after a supposed accident and Colin has never seen him again.) They used to meet up at the foot of the mountain to hang out but one day, the boy stopped coming. Did Colin like him? Who knows, Colin was 15/16 years old at the time. |
